The PS5 version of Mobile Suit Gundam Battle: Operation 2 will release on January 28.A unique PS5 edition of Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 is about to be released, allowing you to use your DualSense controller to experience the strength of a mobile suit.
Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 for the PlayStation 5 is scheduled to release on January 28th, according to Bandai Namco Entertainment’s announcement on the PlayStation Blog. It is still free-to-play, so you don’t have to worry about buying it again. It will also come with a new map called Military Base and some new English voice-over at Base Camp. It will allow complete cross-play and cross-progression with the PS4 version.
When you launch MSGBO2 on PS5, you may anticipate improvements in frame rate and loading times, but Bandai Namco is also highlighting how much the DualSense controller itself alters the experience of fighting. Based on the firing sound effects of each weapon and the default playback of weapons noises through the DualSense speaker and your TV, each weapon has a distinct haptic feedback pattern.
Additionally, each weapon has a distinct profile for the adaptive triggers. For example, when firing a bazooka, you’ll notice that the resistance rises to simulate the catch just before you’re ready to launch; when firing a beam rifle, you’ll feel a slight vibration in the trigger as it charges in between shots. It’s the closest you’ll come to experiencing the sensation of using these recognisable weaponry without having to worry about being caught by an inexperienced pilot and converted into a pile of meat.
