The game will have a T for Teen rating, and the specific date is May 17.According to Respawn Entertainment, the mobile edition includes additional characters, battle passes, and special maps. The game will debut with a cast of 10 characters, including one new one, according to industry leaker Tom Henderson: Gibraltar, Caustic, Lifeline, Bangalore, Mirage, Pathfinder, Octane, Wraith, Bloodhound, and Fade.The first character that will only be found on mobile devices is Fade, also known as the Phasing Punisher. His ultimate, dubbed Phase Chamber, which casts all legends into the abyss, grants him a speed boost and the power to travel back in time. He sounds like a fantastic team player.

Since Apex Legends Mobile was created as a separate game, cross-play between console and mobile platforms will not be possible. The game will continue to be free to play and feature the same cosmetic microtransaction options as the PC and console versions.

The launch date for Apex Legends Mobile was originally scheduled for some time after the spring of 2021 back in 2019. The game’s release date was then covertly pushed back to 2022 as a result of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Since March 7 of this year, 10 different nations—Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia—have participated in Apex Legends Mobile’s beta testing.
