Next week sees the release of Grand Theft Auto GTA III play on mobile.

On December 15, Rockstar will release the 10-Year Anniversary Edition of Grand Theft Auto  GTA III play  on mobile for a limited number of iOS and Android devices. Since the game’s release, more devices have been added to the list, increasing your chances of playing petty crime while on the go. And for $4.99, you probably won’t even need to mug someone to get a copy. Please refrain from doing this.

The iPad 1, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPod Touch 4th generation are all compatible with GTA III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition. Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, or Toshiba Thrive tablets running the OS are also compatible with the game. LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, and T-Mobile G2x Android phones and tablets are also compatible with the game.

The 10th Anniversary Edition’s $4.99 price tag is a wonderful deal for a game that you previously could have paid ten times as much for because it has been optimised with touch-screen controls and visuals that definitely appear a lot crisper than the 2001 original’s. Here is Rockstar’s celebration of its own game’s 10th anniversary, which is the type of self-congratulation you can get away with if you’re R*.
